Lately I wanted to blog, I just have been to lazy to. I want to put a new layout up on Ponterosso, I just don’t know what the theme should be. Over the last couple of months I have been collecting all sorts of great vintage resources, I just need to figure out which resources I should use. I have made so many layouts that feature flowers, I want to try something different. Please feel free to share your favorite vintage websites or resource site, I would love to see them.
Yesterday was the beginning of the lent season. For those of you who are not catholic or don’t practice let me explain what it is. Lent is the time from Ash Wednesday till Easter Sunday. During lent one is supposed to make a sacrifice and give something up as well as restrain from eating meat on Fridays. Last year I chose to give up meat, it did not work out as well as I hoped it would, under the pressure of my family I caved. This year, I would like to try again. Starting tomorrow, (even though lent started on Wednesday) I am giving up meat products, in addition I am going to give up using plastic water bottles, plastic bags, Styrofoam plates and cups ect.. Not only am I giving something up for Lent but, helping the plant in the process.
Today I went to work. I work in the registrar/records part of a university, I answer phones, input data, help with mailing, file ect. I don’t go to work often during the school year because it is far away from home, in the summer I’m there everyday. Anyway this week we had a week of school off for February break, so the last two days I went to work. There is this guy at work whom I really like, there is a small problem, he is 5 years older then I am and in his last year of college. I don’t know him too well but I feel like I could picture myself with him. My aunt, who is also my boss (and his) knows him pretty well and says that he is really a nice guy. Although he usually looks like he just rolled out of bed, with the messy hair look, he is really cute. I think he has a girl friend though. He is also might be moving away after he graduates this year so, this summer I wont be able to work with him. We talked quite a bit today with a couple of other workers in the office, I just hate being the youngest. He also has a great major with a promising job, I just wish he would go to graduate school now so we can spend a couple of more summers at work, but paying for another four years of college is tough. I sound like a obsessed stalker. *gigles*
I am in the process of creating a fashion website. I can’t wait to open the website, I hope people find it useful.
